FITNESS CLASSES
The latest scientific information about how to best maintain our bodies
recommends at least an hour a day of exercise. For many, there are just
not enough hours in the day to cram in an hour of physical fitness every
day.
But even the busiest billionaires want to be around and in good health
for as many years as possible. To this end, many busy Americans have
begun scheduling a workout every day. Even if you miss a couple of days
a week, there’s always the weekend to makeup time and at least
you are actively pursuing a healthier lifestyle.
Add a little variety into your workout routine by signing up for fitness
classes. Your local gym or rec center has certified group fitness instructors.
Traditional aerobics as well as some of the hottest and new fitness
workouts are offered in a fun and safe environment.
Pilates, Yoga, kickboxing,
challenging cardio, step classes, body sculpting classes are all common
fitness classes that can be found in just about any gym in the country.
If you have a specialty sport or want to perfect one discipline, privately
owned studios also abound. You can find the perfect yoga instructor
for you, get a black belt in karate or other martial arts discipline
Fitness classes are held at a variety of times throughout the week
and can be enjoyed by all. Many rec centers and gyms send out mailers.
Or you can research your area online to start trying out different gyms,
studios and rec centers in your search for the perfect fitness routine.
Some of the larger gyms even include water classes in pools. Pool classes
are ideal for older people whose joints might not work so well, or for
people recovering from various surgeries. The water simulates weightlessness
so there is no impact on your joints/knees, but you can still have quite
the strength/resistance/cardio workout in the water.
